BRING KEN AND JIMMY TO YOUR CHURCH FOR A ONE-DAY CHURCH SAFETY SEMINAR

Combined, Ken and Jimmy have conducted over 800 church safety seminars. We'd love to send them to your church for a more detailed church safety seminar that will include much more detail than you would receive at the bigger conference. If interested, text "mini" to 817-437-9693.

KEN ALEXANDROW

Jimmy calls Ken an "elite trainer." Ken is the founder of AGAPE Tactical. He spent twenty-six years serving as a police officer with the Metropolitan Nashville, Tennessee Police. He graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 1991, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.

Ken began his law enforcement career as a patrol officer and then was appointed to the Metro Nashville Police Academy as a confrontation management and firearms instructor.

Ken was selected to serve on the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force.

He concluded his career as a Field Training Officer (FTO) where he had the opportunity to supervise and train new police officers on how to apply their academy knowledge to real-life situations on the street.

Since 1998, Ken has taught active killer response, personal protection, handgun carry permit, and advanced handgun, rifle and shotgun classes to private citizens.

He specializes in helping schools, businesses and religious organizations develop plans for providing a safe learning, working and worshiping environment for their employees, members and guests.

Ken has trained numerous church safety/security teams around the country.

In March of 2023, a female entered a Church School in Nashville, TN and shot and killed three adults and three children. The police responded, and in about 11 minutes, they had confronted the killer and fatally wounded her.

A local news station in Nashville, knowing that Ken was an expert in such matters, interviewed him.

JIMMY MEEKS

It has been said of Jimmy's presentation that "There has never been a stronger call to action."

Jimmy is a retired police officer, having served 35 years in law enforcement. He has also been a minister for over 53 years. During his police career, he also spent 12 years pastoring a church.

He has conducted almost 500 church safety seminars across the country.

As an officer, he served as a hostage negotiator, field training officer, school resource officer, detective, supervisor, and crime prevention officer. He has accumulated over 4500 hours of TCOLE training. He was also a certified crime prevention specialist.

He has a B.A. in Religion from Oklahoma Baptist University and a Certificate of Ministry from Emmaus Road Ministry School.

Jimmy has also served as a "missionary" to police officers, visiting departments across the nation, encouraging the officers. He has "shown up" at roll calls across the nation (Chicago, Spokane, Minneapolis, Denver, Seattle, and many others). He's often the guest speaker at Law Enforcement Appreciation Day services held in churches nationwide. He always shares the same message: The Heart of the Father. (CLICK HERE TO HEAR THE MESSAGE HE SHARES).

Jimmy and his wife of 47 years, Julie, were married at the First Baptist Church of Daingerfield, Texas, the site of the June 22, 1980 massacre that killed 5 - and injured 10 (during a morning worship service).

Jimmy was a production assistant in the award-winning docudrama Faith Under Fire, based on the tragedy at First Baptist Church in Daingerfield, Texas.

Jimmy is also a member of the City Council in his municipality.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ABOUT THE MINI SEMINAR

Please reach us at info@bulletproofworship.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

There are several options:

  • OPTION #1
    • SATURDAY - 8:00 A.M. - 5:00. The main "downside" of this is that attendees lose their Saturday. We have learned that most people prefer to keep their Saturdays free for family time, etc.

  • OPTION #2
    • FRIDAY AFTERNOON and SATURDAY MORNING. This schedule would have us starting on Friday at 1:00 pm, and then resuming on Saturday morning ( 8:00 - 12 noon) This keeps Saturday AFTERNOON free.

  • OPTION #3
    • Two evening sessions. For example; Monday night from 6:00 p.m. - 9:30, and then the second session would be Tuesday night from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00.

  • OPTION #4
    • Friday: 1:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. (break for supper)

Whatever works for your church (area) is fine with us. Our only goal to help the churches. So, be FLEXIBLE ("Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be broken").

  • We have NO desire to be a financial burden to any church. Thus, we always prefer that attendees pay an admission price. When they have some "skin in the game," they are much more committed.

  • The admission price would be about $50 per attendee. Our "goal" is $6,000.

  • We do ask the church to agree to pay the difference between the sum amount of those who have registered, and the $6,000. For example, if 100 people register at 50 dollars apiece, that is $5,000. We would ask the church to pay the difference ($1,000). Or ... ask the church to fund our lodging expenses.

  • Sometimes a church will reach out to vendors to help with funding the conference. This has proven to be very helpful

  • Our experience has been that most of the time the number of those who register has covered the amount.

  • We post it on our website and we also create a Facebook page.

  • We create a flyer.

  • We make a short video advertising the seminar, and ask the host church to share it.

  • We ask the host church to promote the seminar throughout their region (contact local newspaper, radio stations, ministerial associations, etc).

  • We have conducted women's safety seminars from coast to coast.

  • The women's safety seminar is usually held at night.

  • It is NOT a self-defense class. It focuses on Situational Awareness.

  • We do NOT charge the women, however, we do ask women to bring items that can be donated to a women's shelter (assuming there is one in the area that we could assist). Items include toiletries, diapers, etc.

  • We love doing these services! We simply ask the church to host a "First Responder Sunday" while we are there. All local first responders are invited.

  • Jimmy (a 35-year retired police officer) brings the message (click here to hear his message).

  • Sometimes the church will feed lunch to all attending first responders.
